TEAM
MCX/The Team

Specialist led.

MCX runs on people, not just equipment. Behind the eight zones is a team of practitioners, trainers and engineers — the reason a visit here means something.

WHO
The problem this answers
A building full of switched-on equipment and nobody to interrogate is just a slightly better brochure.

The equipment is the easy half. What decides whether a visit is worth the morning is whether the person beside you has actually done the job — run the gallery, graded the feature, mixed the record, specified the network. Not a guide with a script.

Who you will meet

The specialists

You are walked through by the person who works in your discipline — not a host reading from a script. These are the people on the floor.

Lawrence, Head of Product Management at MediaCast

Lawrence

Head of Product Management

Broadcast and live production, now head of product management. He has run these systems under pressure and specced them on paper — so he knows exactly where the two diverge.

Riad, Senior Sales Manager at MediaCast

Riad

Senior Sales Manager

Straight-talking and hard to rush. He’d rather talk you out of the wrong camera than sell you the expensive one — which is why people keep coming back.

Abigail Young, Certified Trainer, T3 at MediaCast

Abigail Young

Certified Trainer, T3

The region’s only T3-certified trainer. She delivers the official DaVinci Resolve certification on the same systems you will be sitting at.

Mamdouh, Technical Sales Specialist at MediaCast

Mamdouh

Technical Sales Specialist

A live-production specialist and outside-broadcast hand who also shoots. He has worked from the truck and from behind the camera — so he knows what survives a real shoot day.

Albert, Technical Sales Specialist at MediaCast

Albert

Technical Sales Specialist

A broadcast engineer and vision mixer. He has cut live shows on this kit — so he judges a control surface by how it feels in the middle of a show, not how it demos.

Joel, Technical Sales Specialist at MediaCast

Joel

Technical Sales Specialist

A producer, beatmaker and studio engineer. He builds tracks on this gear himself — so he knows which controller actually speeds up a session and which one just looks good in the rack.

Mahmoud, Sales Manager Audio at MediaCast

Mahmoud

Sales Manager — Audio

A musician and audio engineer. Years spent tracking, mixing and working live — so he judges gear by how it sounds in a room, not how it reads on a spec sheet.

Ranjeev, Sales Manager NETGEAR AV at MediaCast

Ranjeev

Sales Manager — NETGEAR AV

He knows the AV market better than the datasheets do. His time goes to integrators, not catalogues — so the advice comes from what is actually being installed.

Roel, IT Specialist at MediaCast

Roel

IT Specialist

Post-production and IT. He has kept edit suites running when the storage, the network and the deadline all disagreed — so he specs for the day it goes wrong.

Leo, Technical Support Engineer at MediaCast

Leo

Technical Support Engineer

Support for the systems after they land — the person who answers when a room has to work this afternoon.

Alaa Nawar, Training Partnerships at MediaCast

Alaa Nawar

Training & Partnerships

Runs the training calendar and the partner programme — the first person to speak to about a course or a visit.

A question is faster than a form.

Message the floor and a specialist answers — not a queue.

The disciplines

Who you will actually meet.Matched to what you came for.

Live Production

Gallery, PTZ & streaming

Configures the Live zone to broadcast standard and runs training on both the Vizrt hybrid chain and the full ATEM SDI workflow. The person who answers ‘will this survive a live show?’

DaVinci Resolve, certified

MediaCast is the only Blackmagic Design Certified Training provider in MENA and Türkiye, and our Resolve certification is delivered by the region's only T3-certified trainer. The resident specialist is on the floor for live demonstrations.

Cinema & Acquisition

Bodies, glass, media

Rigs, balances and demonstrates the cinema line-up, and runs the filmmaking workshops. Knows what each body does three weeks later, in a grade, on a deadline.

Configuration and integration

Keeps eight live zones configured, connected and running to standard every day — and specifies the AV-over-IP networks that carry them.

Performance, capture, mix

Runs the Stage and Recording zones, from amplification and effects through microphone selection into a monitored, corrected mix.

Production and the scene

Runs the Music zone and the producer sessions that keep the community coming back — the part of MCX that is people rather than equipment.

The human core
Twenty-five years of MediaCast, focused into one floor.

Our own engineers hold live manufacturer certifications and re-certify continuously — because we cannot teach what we have not mastered ourselves.

The promise

“Specialist led”is not a slogan.

What it means in practice

Every session is guided by someone who genuinely knows the craft. They do not read from a script; they answer real questions with real experience — including the ones where the honest answer is “that will not work for you.”

It is what turns a room full of world-class equipment into a place where decisions actually get made.

Why we invest inward first

MediaCast funds partner enablement, hosts manufacturer trainers in the region, sponsors certification seats for the channel, and ring-fences internal engineering time for staying current.

That investment compounds: better-run rooms, better-specified systems, a region that can hold its own.

“A distributor is only as strong as the knowledge it leaves behind.”
Peyman Dadpanah — Founding Partner & Business Director
