Why this room exists

An instrument is decided in eight bars, not from a specification

Nobody has ever chosen a controller by reading about it.

Everything in this room is a tactile decision. Pad response, encoder feel, whether the workflow gets out of the way at the moment an idea arrives — none of it survives being written down, and all of it decides whether a piece of equipment gets used or quietly gathers dust.

So the room is built to shorten the test to minutes. It is laid out as a working table rather than a display, with monitoring honest enough that what you hear is close to what you will get, because a room that flatters is worse than no room at all.
